In Kailayam, Lord Shiva instructs Narathar to locate suitable subjects for a good cause. Narathar returns with details of four candidates on a pen drive: Ramarajan, Gobi, Krishna and Ganesh. Ramarajan's love match with Jaisri has resulted in their engagement. Now he's in Bangkok enjoying a bachelor party with his friends Gobi, Krishna and Ganesh. But after a night of carousing, the quartet awake to find themselves stranded on a mysterious island. They attempt to construct a catamaran, but only succeed in winding up back where they started. Several months and a misadventure with alcohol later, Lord Shiva decides to give them one more chance to get home to Chennai. First-time writer-director K. Chandru casts Tamil star Jai opposite Niveda Thomas, of 'Poraali' fame, in this big-hearted fantastical comedy. The music is composed by fellow first-timer Prem Kumar.
