The story: All evidence of what starts with the mysterious death of a man who suposedely jumped of a building lead to Evan Barber, who was plead guilty of being the infamous Midnight Murderer, and has been executed. It seems like every single person who was part of the jury on the day of Barber’s trial is in danger and sees his spirit. But are there such things as spirits? Or is someone playing a game?
My Review: I don’t think advertising a movie with Cuba Gooding Jr. will help to promote a movie these days, especially since his last movies were hard to watch. Unfortunately this movie isn’t any differnt. The story is extremely thin and doesn’t have any substance, there are thousands of unanswered questions, the dialogues are meaningless and don’t even make any sense sometimes. The acting is probably the only positive thing about this movie, which is average, but an average acter can’t make up for a bad script. I wished Cuba Gooding Jr. would get another decent movie. He seems to have a few more coming this year, let’s hope for the best.
